A Stimulus… In 1905 Gloucester Rugby Club played the All Blacks for the first time! Imagine the excitement in Gloucester – international tours were not regular like modern times – there wasn’t the transport or money!

Main Activity You are going to compose the movements for the Haka that you wrote in your music lesson In your Haka, short repeated statements work well with short sharp movements. Remember that the movements need to match the feeling in your chant. The Haka was aggressive and a war cry. The movements are intimidating to match this! The movements must be in time with the constant beat of the chant! This is very important!
