2 Station 1: Vocabulary Review Vocabulary Match Game: Use the index cards to match the vocabulary to the correct term. Once you have finished complete the worksheet. Check the answer key on the board for accuracy.

3 Station 2: Atomic Number The atomic number identifies the element. Complete the worksheet for practice identifying protons, neutrons and electrons.

4 Station 3: Bohr Diagrams An early model of the atom was developed in 1913 by Neils Bohr. A Bohr diagram shows the nucleus containing protons and neutrons with the electrons in circular orbits. These orbits from electron shells or energy levels, which are a way of visualizing the number of electrons in the various nucleus. Complete the worksheets.

5 Station 4: Atomic Theory Scientists Use the index cards to review who the scientists were who contributed to Atomic theory. Then complete the worksheet. Check the answer key for accuracy when you are done.

6 Station 5: Cumulative Check Do you think you know the concepts from chapter 7 well? Take the cumulative check to find out. Check the answer key for accuracy.

7 Station 6: Create your own Quiz Use your iPad to create a quiz for the class. Your quiz must have 10 questions and you must provide an answer key. Check your notes, textbook and labs to help you. Print your quiz and answer key when you are done.

8 Challenge Station Use the PowerPoint on the Smartboard to learn about Lewis structures. Check the answer key for accuracy.
