2 AMI (AMIC) Amiable Ami + able literal definition – “friend-able” Dictionary definition – (adj) having a friendly or pleasant personality; good- natured; agreeable Amiable customers make coming to work much more enjoyable.

3 AMI (AMIC) Amicable Amic + able literal definition – “friend-able” Dictionary definition – (adj) showing friendliness; usually used to describe relationships or situations rather than people Despite always disagreeing, the two sisters maintained an amicable relationship.

4 AMI (AMIC) - FRIEND Amity Ami + y (result of) Literal definition – result of friends Dictionary definition – (n) friendship; peaceful relations; goodwill The amity between the two countries helped insure peace throughout the region.

5 CRED Credible Cred + ible (able) Literal definition – able to believe Dictionary definition – (adj) able to be believed; convincing The prosecutor had credible evidence that proved Wolfgang was guilty of the crime.

11 EGO Ego Dictionary definition – (n) a person’s feeling of self-esteem or self-worth Getting beat by that six-year-old in that game of HORSE really bruised my ego.

16 FORT - STRONG Fortitude Fort + tude (quality) Literal definition – strong quality Dictionary definition – (n) strength of mind that makes it possible to endure pain or difficult situations with courage Perseus had enough fortitude to face Medusa and the Kraken to save Andromeda.
