Long-Term Care insurance cover introduced in the context of CHIS Increase in CHIS contribution rate from 3.42% to 4.02% of basic salary for all members, also entailing increase in contribution basis for ‘pensioners’. No increase in Organisation’s contribution rate of 6.47% of basic salary. Increase by 100 CHF of the franchise Payment to the CHIS by the Organisation of the corresponding amount ( 1MCHF) to guarantee the equilibrium of the system until 2010 The results of the technical study for the Long-Term period equilibrium (beyond 2010) are expected. Subject 5YR 1995 5YR 2000 5YR 2005/2006 Pension Fund (Treated in addition to the initial listed items for 2005/2006 5YR) Staff contribution increased from 9% to 9.37% of reference salary (Organisation’s contribution remained at 21%). End 1996, Council decided on the mechanism to set up an international foundation under Swiss law in the event of dissolution of the Organisation. Contributions to PF modified to attain 1/3 to 2/3 ratio, staff/fellows to Organisation (i.e. increase from 9.37% to 10.12% of reference salary for staff/fellows Decrease of 21% to 20.25% for Organisation). (1) New Governing Board and Policy New indexation method including: Actuarial calculation if PF not balanced Stop loss clause (No decrease of the purchase power limited to 8% maximum) If PF balanced automatic application of inflation rate If PF highly balanced over indexation of the pensions. Creation of allowance for babies 200ChF/monthly ( children from 0-3 years ) Creation of a day nursery ( 20 places ) in conjunction with the commune of Meyrin Revision of the family definition: homosexuel marriages recognised and rights identical; partnerships recognised and health insurance.
