It’s a marvelous Monday! Pick one of the following journal entries and write about it! You drank a suspicious drink from Dr. Gru and now you’ve turned into a minion. Create a story! If you could be any of these super heroes, who would you be and why? Trick-o-treat! Imagine that everyone on Halloween gave out condiment packages of ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, ranch, etc. Write about how that’d make you feel!

Key ideas/questions: What’s in the introduction? What’s in the main body? What’s in the conclusion? Notes: An opening statement is given, presenting the issue or argument and the writer’s point of view. A paragraph stating each argument is given. The most important argument is given in the first paragraph. Less important arguments follow in order. Supporting evidence, reasons or facts are given for each argument.
