Email Email is short for electronic mail. It allows you to quickly send a message to anyone else in the world as long as they have their own email address.
3
Good Practice There are several things to remember when writing an email. Always give the message a subject. This allows the recipient to quickly see what the email is about. Never write all in upper case, this is not only poor English it also means that you are shouting and is very rude.
4
CC and BCC Emails have options for CC and BCC. CC is short for carbon copy and sends a copy of the message to another person or people. BCC is short for blind carbon copy, this is same as carbon copy but anyone placed in BCC cannot be seen by the people in To or CC.
5
Attachments If you have a file saved in your user space you can add this to an email. This is called adding an attachment. You can add more than one attachment as long as the file size isn’t too large.
6
Accessing your Email You can access your email using: The “Outlook Web Access” shortcut from your desktop. The email section of the school website, this can be accessed from home as well.
