Some of Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets was filmed here! Gloucester Cathedral Choristers sing here Robert of Normandy ( William of Normandy`s son) was buried here It takes £6000 a day to run There is a statue of Dr Edward Jenner in Gloucester Cathedral (the man who cured small pox) The tower has 269 steps to get to the top It was built as an abbey in 1058 but it became a cathedral in 1541 The shape of it from birds eye view is a cross to represent the Christian Cross We go there 4 days a week in the school days

We go to school here! Found by King Henry VIII Was originally an only boys school It was established as an boys school in 1545 There are more than 5 King`s Schools Different parts of the school were made in different periods of time This school is a nursery, reception, junior, senior and six form school It is linked with Gloucester Cathedral in many ways It stands between three streets those streets are Pitt street, Park street and Gouda way. It is a private school

The Tailor of Gloucester story is very popular and most of the Gloucester public knows its tale Beatrix Potter came in May 1894 to stay with her cousin Caroline Hutton and that was when the Inspiration for the story was found The House of the Tailor of Gloucester has now been converted into a shop where they sell the story of The Talior of Gloucester themed items My aunt works here It is located in a line that goes into the grounds of Gloucester Cathedral

Brunswick Baptist Church is located on the bottom of Southgate street by a round- about. This church was founded in 1813 and this year (2013) it is having it`s 200 th year anniversary! They are very friendly to gatherings of all ages and all nations The fifth largest church in the world is Baptists Worldwide there are about 40 million members Baptist Union owns 2150 of Britain's churches

People say it is the leaning tower of Gloucester of that it is our own small leaning tower of Pizza It leans to the right because of the impact it took by the Royalist Troops during the siege of Gloucester in 1643 This beautiful landmark dates back to the 12 th century (although it was rebuilt in the 13 th century ) In this Church there is a tomb of Alderman John Walter who died in 1626 and he lays there with his wife Alice After the church had been built 100-200 years later windows were installed It is located on Westgate street

This church is located on the bottom of London Road They have a lot of events going on in December including the Christmas fayre and much more This church is a catholic church It was opened in 1860 In 1968 the great bell was restored In 1788 the catholic mission was established by Abbe Gilbert
