M2 – explain the strengths of their own diet and make recommendations as to how it could be improved. D2 – Justify recommendations made regarding their own diet.

2 Strengths P2 – Describe Strengths M2 – Explain WHY they are strengths Carbohydrates? Starches rather than sugars? What do they do for your health and body? Proteins? Vitamins and minerals? Water? Fibre? Fats – unsaturated? Regular meals at appropriate times?

3 How can you improve your diet? P2 – Describe areas for improvement M2 – How could your diet be improved? Carbohydrates? – sugars? Too many carbs? Not enough? Lack of vitamins or minerals? Water to drink or fizzy drinks? Calorie count? Too high or too low? Fats – saturated? Too many? Is your diet balanced? Protein? Regular meals at appropriate times?

4 D2 – Justify (explain) changes you have suggested to your diet. What benefits will changes you have suggested lead to? Will the changes lead to a more balanced diet? Will you work towards your calorie target? Could you feel any healthier? Do you need to consider your exercise habits? Why would eating at regular intervals benefit your body?
