Bank erosion is threatening a farm road NRCS –Environmental Quality Incentives Program {EQIP} cost share with landowner Rural (farmland) Bed material: gravel-cobble-sand, incised Pool-riffle-pool regime, slope around 1% Average width 20-30 ft, 10-14 ft tall banks Partially spring fed. High-quality trout stream, not stocked, natural reproduction of Rainbow, Brown, & upstream, Brook Trout

10 TRANSPLANTING A LARGE CLUMP OF WILLOW TO USE AS A LIVING DIKE Multi-stem (20 to 40 stems) bushes approx. 14 to 24 ft tall, transplanted as a single clump, with roots in trench directly behind the LPSTP. Tops of branches were trimmed & used as Live Poles (6 to 10 ft long).
