4. There are certain characteristics that make the cheetah a mammal. A cheetah is warm-blooded. They breathe using lungs. The cheetah's skin is covered in fur. The cheetah reproduces babies by having live births.

5. Appearance The cheetah has short, golden fur with black spots. Their orange fur helps them blend in with bushes. The name cheetah means “spotted one”. Cheetahs like high places so they know what's going on.

8. Cheetah VS Leopard Cheetahs are longer in length. Cheetahs cannot roar, but they can purr. They have smaller jaws and longer tails. Cheetahs are FAST. Leopards are not built for speed. They can roar, but they cannot purr.

9.  Cougars live in the mountains in America. Cougars, mountain lions, or panthers don’t have any spots.  Jaguars live in North America and South America. They have spots that are very similar to cheetahs.  Lion are cats that don’t run that fast. How do I Tell them Apart?

10. Interesting Facts  Cheetahs can run 60 miles an hour. That is as fast as a car. Mother cheetahs are very protective of their cubs. When the baby comes out the mother has to feed it using mother's milk. As it gets bigger, the mother teaches the young cub how to hunt.

11. Habitat Cheetahs can be found in Africa or in Southwest Asia. They like open spaces where they can run and hunt. They live in grasslands.
