Software components: - Things you cannot touch and feel. 1. Operating System - DOS: Non-visual, (B & W) - Windows: Visual, Menus, icons, toolbars 2. Application Programs - Programs designed for a purpose e.g. Wordprocessing – Word, WordPro Spreadsheets – Excel, 1-2-3 Web - Internet Explorer, Firefox SOFTWARE What is a computer system ?
