Five primary functions Public relations –Yearbooks capture school’s personality –Often used as tool for community Provides an insider’s look at school Can attract families to move to the area Can attract new businesses to the area –Has a longer shelf life than a newspaper Must consider if a topic or event is really important enough to include in book
