HOMEWORK POLICY Homework Policy Bel Air Elementary has implemented new homework guidelines based on the revision of regulation 663-1. 5th grade students are expected to read for 30-50 minutes daily. Students should also be capable of completing homework "independently". The homework does count as a grade including the weekly reading logs.

INFORMATION ABOUT GRADED PAPERS Data Notebooks need to be checked by parents with the students for their assessment grades. Tuesday Folders will have the graded papers that are completed in class or for homework. Papers (not assessments/quizzes) can be redone for a better grade before the end of the marking period. If you have questions about the child’s grade, please look at the gradebook provided for parents online and contact the teacher.
