Analyse your results, displaying the data appropriately Explain your results (PEE) and critically evaluate ways to improve your data Outcomes Recall how to write a method to enable valid results to be collected Key Words: Dependent Independent Control L.O: To investigate how high different balls will bounce. Bouncing Balls Starter: The bigger the ball the higher it bounces What is your starting point? Can you prove it? Identify variables in this experiment and describe how to carry out the experiment. Select and explain the equipment to use to investigate this. Explain why my method is the best way of collecting the evidence I need, including why the number of measurements I plan to make is suitable.

What affects how high a ball bounces? State the effect your variable will have Justify the importance of the variable in ball design Task: CAF out factors and pick your follow up activity (orange or green (challenge yourself).

The BIG question Why does it matter how a ball bounces? How would a game of football be different if it was played with a ball as bouncy as a rubber ball?

Recipe for Turkey Burgers (Serves 4) Mix the turkey mince, onion, garlic and red pepper. Add the chopped basil leaves then mix well. Form into burger shapes. Put under hot grill. Serve hot. What key information is missing that would prevent someone from following the recipe? Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the method suggesting how to improve.

Recipe for Turkey Burgers (Serves 4) Mix the 450g turkey mince, 1 finely chopped red onion, 1 garlic clove and ½ finely chopped red pepper. Add the chopped 6 basil leaves then mix well. Form into burger shapes. Put under hot grill for 10 minutes. Serve hot. Why is this method so much better? Can you make a list of all the points that must be included in a clear method?
