Purpose of a Pronoun 1. Maggie loves to swim. Maggie also loves to ski. 2. Marcus ran to the store. Marcus ran to the store to get dinner. Then, Marcus cooked his dinner. Finally, Marcus ate his dinner. 3. This is a good book. I will loan the book to you. 4. My dad planted flowers. After my dad watered the flowers, the flowers grew tall.
