1. Rules for bandaging and splinting
1. Sanitize before touching materials(1/2 a pump). 2. Cover entire area with gauze. 3. Tuck in all ends of bandage. 4. Roll bandage on extremity. 5. Make sure bandage is snug, smooth and conforms to the extremity. 6. To tie a knot go towards extremity-not away from extremity. 7. Put all materials away exactly the way you found it. 8. Check extremity for any circulations issues-remove immediately if you see any
