It has now spread to over 270 towns and cities and there are also international groups. What do they do? They work in partnership with the Police, local council and other official bodies They wear a blue reflective ‘Street Pastor’ uniform They talk to people in pubs, shops and on the streets They listen to problems, offer advice and guidance and give help and support

8. School Pastors A sister organisation, called School Pastors, was set up in 2011 with the aim of reducing anti-social behaviour, illegal drug use and bullying.
