Ingredients: Unsalted Roasted Peanuts Canola Oil Salt Sugar You will need a blender or a small food processor (this will work faster), measuring spoons, a measuring cup and a half-pint jar.

Step 1: measure out 1 cup of unsalted roasted peanuts. Next, pour them into the blender.

Step 2: Measure out 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of canola oil. Pour it into the peanuts

Step 3: Measure out 1/2 teaspoon of salt and add to the peanuts, and measure out 1 tablespoon of sugar and add to the peanuts. (Sugar is optional). Salt Sugar

Step 4: After all ingredients have been added, begin blending the mixture. This may take several minutes. You will probably have to stop a few times and stir the mixture inside the blender so that all the peanuts are chopped finely. Continue chopping until the peanut mixture is creamy. It may be soupy to start with but it will gradually become thicker.

Now you have home-made peanut butter. After the mixture has become creamy put the peanut butter in a container and be sure to refrigerate it. Enjoy it and mix it with some jelly so you can have awesome peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
