Arizona Rural Policy Institute Overview/Mission—Overview/Mission— The Arizona Rural Policy Institute (ARPI) helps improve the quality of life in Arizona’s rural communities by conducting policy analysis and research on a wide spectrum of essential issues and topics. ARPI publishes research outcomes in policy reports for local, regional, and statewide dissemination, and provides technical assistance to communities for policy implementation.

Advisory Board— Arizona Rural Development Council The federally recognized Arizona Rural Development Council is comprised of members who represent the private sector, as well as local, tribal, state, federal, and educational agencies/organizations. The Council assists the Institute staff in identifying needs, establishing priorities, and providing reviews for RPI projects.
