1 Meets monthly Maintains forms for potential class submissions Maintains records of teachers/classes Maintains records of class attendance Organizes and emails info for newsletter, order of service, and weekly emails Provides educational materials for people unable to attend services (ex: Prison Lending Library) Announces classes at Wednesday night dinners and helps class leaders with setup/takedown of audiovisual equipment. Starting 2015, organize and distribute material for CG including membership, room/calendar reservations. Works with budget for class supplies, compensation for outside teachers, and educational materials including books for ARE library. 2 Charge to the Adult Faith Development Committee The Board of Directors of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville does create the Adult Religious Education Committee for the purpose of coordinating an educational program to promote the faith development of the whole person to include broad and flexible opportunities for study, exploration, reflection, and spiritual practice. The Board charges the committee, in conjunction with the Director of Lifespan Religious Education (DLRE), with the following responsibilities: Organize programs (classes, seminars, and scheduled events) to encourage educational experiences in mind, body, and spirit consistent with Unitarian Universalist values. Facilitate classes developed by members and friends of FUUN consistent with Unitarian Universalist Values. Ensure educational opportunities are adequately publicized, utilizing all relevant communication mediums.
