13 POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS TO THE LABOUR SHORTAGE TIANB Member Survey - 2016 - Transat Chair in Tourism 13 Development  The preferred solution is to develop an employment program for workers over age 50  Another possible solution is to increase the minimum wage  However, few respondents felt it is important to develop educational programs in tourism promoting recreation and tourism jobs in a four seasons employment perspective

16 POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE FUNDING FOR TOURISM BUSINESSES TIANB Member Survey - 2016 - Transat Chair in Tourism 16 Support for the industry and marketing  According to respondents, "Guidance and strategic support" is the most popular solution to improve funding for tourism businesses  Respondents also considered the other three solutions as possible options, but to a lesser degree
