2. Do you have a paper redo??  Make sure you get your redo in on the assigned date. These MUST be acceptable before your portfolio is submitted in order for you to have a complete (and accepted!) portfolio!  Ask for help NOW if you’re not sure what to do!

3. You’re so close! (yet still so far away…)  Next turn in date: Tuesday, May 8 th for your COMPLETE Senior Project Portfolio  MAJOR DUE DATE: IF THIS DOES NOT COME IN ON TIME, YOU DO NOT GET A SENIOR BOARD SPEECH SCHEDULED….WHICH MEANS, YOU’RE FINISHING THE PROJECT IN SUMMER SCHOOL…..WHICH MEANS, YOU’RE NOT GRADUATING WITH YOUR CLASS! 

4. The components:  Check out the portfolio checklists on pages 24-25  It is very important you use the right checklist for your project!  You’ll need to print out a blank copy of the appropriate checklist to put in the front of your binder (can be found in the student sharing folder)

5. Items everyone needs  Portfolio front cover  A blank copy of the Portfolio Checklist  An updated résumé (you should have done this last year…check WOIS, I’ve got passwords if needed!)  The final draft of your college admissions essay or personal statement (can be almost any personal writing, and can be written now if you don’t want to share any previous assignments from this or other classes)

6. Items everyone needs  Senior Project Proposal, including any amended proposals (should have Barnes’ signature, I’ll sign them all on May 8 th )  Senior Research Paper (clean ACCEPTED copy, no editing marks)  Project Self-evaluation  Log of Hours with total hours and Final Mentor Verification form  Project Evaluation form (this will come from me mid-week or so)

7. If you’re doing a job shadow or volunteer/community service project  MAKE SURE you complete the extras required on your individual checklist  It is required for your portfolio to be accepted…this is part of the type of project you chose, and you need to complete it!  Not too late to get started…but hustle!

8. General Notes  Should be neatly done and well edited  Each paper is put into an individual plastic sleeve in the binder  Artsy/Craftsy not required, but elements like graphics, table of contents, divider pages, and pictures should be considered necessary

10. Returning to Othello!  In your groups this week, you’ll be reading a section of Act IV and performing it to the class. You’ll be teaching the class about what happened in your section and what the importance of it is.  On Thursday and Friday, all groups will perform and individuals will complete their own Act IV study guides while watching the performances!

11. In your groups  Pick up the Act IV direction sheet for your group and get your scene section from me  Assign roles and begin reading!  Begin work!
