2 bombs were named Fat Man and Little Boy Fat Man had a plutonium core 10’ 8” long, 5’ wide, weighed 10,200 lbs Explosion = 21 kilotons of dynamite Little Boy had a uranium core 10’ long, 28” wide, weighed 8900 lbs Explosion = 18 kilotons of dynamite
