3 FY10 Highlights 15 th consecutive year operating in the black 402,169 total visitors – Virginia Air & Space Center +94,500 total visitors – Celebrations by the Bay Event Series Served 240,407 children with educational experiences Visitor Surveys reflecting a 97% overall satisfaction rating. +4,000 scouts, students and homeschool families with Overnight and Day Science Camps Served nearly 9,000 with programming through NASA ERC Recognized as a Virginia Green Attraction

7 Education 240,407 student admissions More than 4,000 scouts, students and homeschool families participated in science camps. Served more than 25,000 underprivileged students with Opportunity Program More than 8,000 served through donations that qualified for NAP Tax Credits

8 Hosted Home School Appreciation Day, Homeschool Hubble Day, two home school workshops, and a homeschool science fair. Hosted an educator open house and seven teacher workshops Developed three new Pre-k demos and one 3 rd -5 th grade demo.
