INCLUDING THINGS LIKE (ETHNICITY, GENDER, PROFESSION, INCOME, FAMILY SIZE, HOBBIES, INTERESTS, ETC) 4.SPENDING HABITS IN YOUR PRODUCT’S INDUSTRY 5.REACTIONS TO COMPETITORS’ PRODUCTS (WHAT’S MOST IMPORTANT WHEN YOU BUY…., ARE YOU GENERALLY SATISFIED? ETC.) 6. REACTION TO YOUR PRODUCT. 7. HOW MUCH WOULD THEY PAY? 8. HAVE A PLAN. NOT JUST A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO QUANTIFY AND ANALYZE YOUR DATA? YOU MUST CREATE CHARTS/GRAPHS TO GO IN YOUR PRESENTATION. WHAT DO THESE CHARTS MEAN? WHAT DO YOU LEARN ABOUT YOR CUSTOMERS?

2 BASIC GUIDELINES MINIMUM OF 20 PEOPLE SURVEYED (5 ADULTS) MINIMUM OF 10 QUESTIONS I MUST APPROVE YOUR SURVEY BEFORE YOU GO OUT AND INTERVIEW. SURVEYS WILL BE CONDUCTED DURING CLASS TIME THEN DURING YOUR LUNCHES, ETC ON WEDNESDAY. YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF YOUR SURVEYS DONE BY THURSDAY 3 RD PERIOD. THURSDAY WILL BE A DAY TO COLLECT AND ANALYSE DATA AND DRAW CONCLUSIONS.

3 SURVEY INTERVIEWS DO NOT GO INTO CLASSROOMS WHERE LEARNING IS TAKING PLACE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AT ALL TIMES (NOSE, ETC) FIND TEACHERS ON BREAK AND ASK POLITELY (IF THEY DO NOT HAVE TIME, ITS OK) SECRETARIES, AP’S ARE GREAT SOURCES (MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE EASY TO FIND) COUNSELING OFFICE, FRONT OFFICE, AG, COACHES OFFICES (BOYS AND GIRLS) DO NOT BE LAZY AND JUST WALK AROUND. YOU MUST HAVE 20 INTERVIEWS DONE BY THE TIME YOU COME TO CLASS TOMORROW. NOBODY WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE CLASSROOM. CONDUCT INTERVIEWS BEFORE SCHOOL…LUNCH….AFTER SCHOOL…ETC. THURSDAY IS FOR DATA ANALYSIS ONLY
