5. 5 11 th CAA Cross-Calibration Workshop, Hotel die Tanne, Goslar, Germany 7-9 April 2010  10 th Cross-Cal in Paris: Mission extension approved  data delivery plan of 2009 becomes more relaxed  All data for 2006-7 should have calibrated and delivered by May 2009  All data for 2008 must be provided by April 2010 Some files may need to be provided faster as they are needed by other teams for their calibration efforts  All data for 2009 must be provided by Oct 2010  Now: UK STFC has decided to withdraw funding from the UK PI teams  No funding to operate the UK instruments & UKDC: DWP, FGM, PEACE  No support to the CAA: STFC funding has been used for the CAA  Solutions are being investigated  Impacts on the CAA can be significant: Should the Cluster CAC resources be used for (A) operating the UK instruments or (B) archiving the data from the UK instruments? If the first, the last years of the Cluster data will not be of the same quality as until now If the second, the mission is over? No further improvements of calibration of earlier years possible Introduction – Cluster extension
