2. Getting Started  Go to http://pbworks.com  Click on For Education  Click on Sign Up Now

3. Choose Account Type  Select Basic Account  Under Sign Up - Click Non-Commercial - Follow Sign Up Steps  Once you’ve completed the steps, check your email inbox for confirmation.  Click on the link to - Activate your PBWorks Account - Take Me to My Workspace

4. Choose Account Type  This is your workspace. You will create your page from this space. Notice the following tabs: Wiki Pages & Files Users Settings -Click on Users

5. Creating your User List  Click on Add more users

6. Creating your User List  Click on Create accounts for your students - This will automatically take you to the Settings Tab

7. Create Classroom Accounts  Add number of students  Choose permission level  Click Continue

8. Create Classroom Accounts  Use Username and Password provided or Create your Own  Click Continue

9. Create Classroom Accounts  Your generated class account will appear. Check your spelling!  Click Create accounts

10. Create Classroom Accounts  Congratulations! You successfully created your account.

11. More About Settings  Create a title and description for the wiki.

12. More About Settings  Under BASIC SETTINGS - Click Colors  Under ACCESS CONTROLS - Click Workspace Security

13. More About Settings  You may change and customize this setting at any time.  Click Save

14. Formatting the Front Page  Return to the Wiki tab  Click on Edit  Change the Front Page to your personal greeting  Click Save

15. Creating a Page  Click on Create a page. A pop-up window will appear under the Pages and Files tab.

16. Creating a Page  Name it with your name  Choose Blank page  Click on Create Page

17. Deleting a Page  Click on Pages & Files tab  Click on boxes in front of items you wish to delete  Click Delete

18. Creating a Folder  Click on Put this page in a folder  Click on Create a new folder  Name your new folder  This is where your page will appear in the Navigator.
