CHORAL (VOCAL) Definition: Musical group of singers. Instrumentation: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone, and Bass. Size: 10-100 Performance Venues: Churches, Schools and Theatres 3 songs: Grace – Lukewarm, Tenth Avenue North – Losing, Big Mo- Some things never change

ORCHESTRAL (STRINGS/BRASS/WOODWI NDS) Definition: A group composed of stringed instruments, percussion, and brass. Instrumentation: String, Bass, Woodwind, and percussion. Size: Up to 100 Performance Venues: Concert halls, Performing art centers. 3 songs: Electric Light Orchestras- Bluebird, Confusion, Fire on High

JAZZ ENSEMBLES Definition: Jazz band that plays Jazz music. Usually consists of a Rhythm section and a horn section. Instrumentation: Percussion, Double bass, Bass guitars, and saxophones. WIND ENSEMBLES Definition: A concert band, also called wind band. Instruments: flutes, oboes, and clarinets. Size: 25-150 people Performance Venues: Anywhere 3 songs: Samuel Barber – Commando March, Petter Mennin – Canzona, Aaron Copland- Emblems
