Nearly 10% of members completed online survey and over half of respondents also volunteered to be involved in the telephone interviews over the summer “Fantastic resources. It is the best forum for sharing ideas, information and new developments in the sector.” Overwhelming value in supporting respondents in their work at an individual level as well as organisationally. A wide and unique membership group. Mainly across housing and social care, but with interest from health and other professionals (and consultants!) Regional networking was highly valued as were site visits to view innovation in practice Due to financial pressures, members were reluctant to pay but would consider meeting the costs of some Housing LIN items in future Housing LIN Survey: Results

Extra Care funding £200m DH allocation announced Work with IPC for a further SHOP Market Position Statement briefing to aid local strategic planning Refresh of FundingTechnical Brief to influence new local investment opportunities with HCA, public/private partnerships etc

Web development Continued improvements to website e.g. latest design pages Work in progress to create new Health and Housing web pages Updates on organisations we are linked to But, need to strengthen regional leads use of regional noticeboards

New Housing LIN reports on Managing Risk in the light of Southern Cross and factsheet on Interior Design Forthcoming case studies on different ECH funding models (Hampshire and Hillingdon); Technical Brief updates; Collection of viewpoints on future funding models in an age of austerity; Partnering with NHF briefing on dementia and housing; McCarthy and Stone on planning issues; with JRF on affordability and housing with care; good practice Home from Hospital resource pack with DH in the autumn Other Housing LIN publications

Promotional work Strengthening links with key housing providers to provide network support Reference to latest End of Life Care and Extra Care Housing report (forthcoming) Have now secured sponsorship to fund 2 nd Housing LIN annual conference on 12 December 2012

Watch our for registration details Next East region LIN meeting – 12 th or 13 th February – likely focus: supporting those with long-term conditions Forthcoming Housing LIN events/actions
