dialogue Hi, Mckay, in china, as we ’ ve said, our National Day is the most important day in October, how about that in America? Oh, in America, it ’ s the last day of October, that ’ s Halloween. Halloween? Yeah, Halloween is a day for children. I never heard it before. It ’ s supposed to be a night when all the devils, ghosts and witchs are out, children will celebrate it by making jack-o ’ - lanterns. jack-o ’ -lanterns? Those are lanterns made out of fresh pumpkins with a candle burning inside. That ’ s fasnating!

Read and translate Halloween is a children ’ s day. The last day in October is the Halloween. On that day, many children will go out at nignt, with a jack-o ’ -lantern in their hands. A jack-o ’ -lantern is a lantern made out of a fresh pumpkin with a burning candle in it.
