2. About this template 1 This MHPOD presentation template has two slide masters and five slide layouts. The Slide Layouts palette can be opened from the Elements Gallery (v2007) or the Format menu (v2003). The title master has: a layout with a full page background and the logo a similar layout without the logo. The body master has: a basic layout with title and body zones a similar layout with the logo in the bottom corner a similar layout with a top banner strip and the logo in the bottom corner.

3. About this template 2 The Slide Layouts palette allows you to choose one of the five layouts to insert as a new slide or to apply to the current slide. After inserting a new slide, click on the text zones to insert text.

4. About this template 3 By default, body text is bulleted. To remove bullets, or to indent an existing bulleted paragraph further, or to create numbered paragraphs, use the buttons in the Bullets and Numbering panel in the Formatting Palette. If you remove bullets from a paragraph, you may need to remove the hanging indent. This can be done by choosing Paragraph from the Format menu. If the default font size is not suitable, change it globally in the layout masters.

5. About this template 4 If inserting tables, use the following table as a model, varying the design to suit your needs.

About this template 5 To begin using this template: – delete slides 2–6 that contain these instructions – insert text into the existing Slide 1; OR use the Slide Layouts palette to apply a different layout to that slide before inserting text – use the Slide Layouts palette to insert additional slides.
