All 28-EU Countries completed the survey, which described 32 VET systems: BE(fr, nl), BU, CZ, DK, DE, EE, EL, IE, ES, FR, HR, IT, CY, LT, LV, LU, HU, MT, NL, AT, RO, PL, PT, SI, SK, FI, SE, UK(Eng, Nir, Sct, Wls) 2 EFTA countries: NO and CH This represents an improvement in submissions when compared to the surveys undertaken in 2011 & 2012 when not all countries replied Observed progress needs to be treated with care and not considered as ‘progress made’ per se. Provision of a definition of ‘QA approach/framework’ Enables a consensus in what is understood by QA approach/framework among EQAVET members (i.e. experts and authorities responsible of quality assurance in VET in EU-28 Countries, including the national reference points), stakeholder involved in the completion of the survey and the European Commission Instrumental in enhancing and advancing the process of developing a common understanding in the area of QA in VET and contributing to the overall EU goal of increasing trust and transparency between EU VET approaches Survey 2013-2014 and its new questions NRPs meeting, Brussels October 2014
