2. Introduction The Titanic sailed to New York in 1912 but did not reach it. It picked up people from Belfast, Southampton, Cherbourg and Cork. It started sailing on the 10 th of April.

3. Classes It had three different classes, 1 st class, 2 nd class and 3 rd class. The 1 st class was for the rich people. The 2 nd class was for the normal people. The 3 rd class was for the poor people.

4. Tickets Tickets cost depended on classes and number of people. 1 st class tickets were around £10 each. 2 nd class tickets were around £30 each. 3 rd class tickets were around £100 each.

5. Hitting the iceberg Halfway to New York after the ball, it hit an iceberg. The Titanic sank, people thought it was unsinkable. The Carpathia picked up the survivors, 700 survived, 1500 died.
