The Emirate Airline London Thames Cable Car is a cable car providing a crossing for pedestrians and cyclists across the River Thames between the O2 Arena on the Greenwich Peninsula and the ExCel Centre at the Royal Victoria Docks in East London. 10. The Thames Barrier Park was opened in November 2000 and provides a new focal point for East London residents and attraction for visitors to south- east London. 11. Newham City Farm is a great place for families to while away a few hours, with plenty of play opportunities for children. There are over 200 animals, with all the farmyard favourites and their feathered friends. Ticket fee about £3.50-£6 and could be even free for certain days.
