Sudan is located in North East Africa, and it is the biggest country in Africa with a total area of 2505813 km 2 (10 th ) with a population of 43,939,598 (2009 estimation)

Sudan Now Sudan has been recently suffering the war between the north and south of Sudan, and it was been suffering the Darfur conflict too.

Darfur The Darfur conflict began in the early 1970s between the pastoral tribes. Most of the blame has fallen on Arab militias which are called the Janjaweed which are armed men appointed by the Al Saddiq Al Mahdi administration to stop the disputes between Darfur tribes.

Darfur now The Arab League, African Union, and France support Sudan’s effort to suspend the ICC investigation. Darfur is now under a peace treaty for one year.

Darfur in the Future I think that the conflict in Darfur will never be solved, and the day will come when Darfur will be declared as a country of it’s own. That will act positively towards Sudan’s economy because there will be no more war to take care of.

North and South Sudan North and South Sudan have been in conflict for almost 100 years. The North of Sudan are Muslims and the South of Sudan are Christians, they are fighting on witch religion will be ruling.

North and South Sudan Now Recently the North and South want to split into 2 independent countries. The split will take place soon.
