Repeated until all seats are deployed NOTE Request should only be entered when a customer has purchased the promo SKUs and the authorized Cloud Deployment Partner has been hired by the customer with contractual agreement to deploy the promo SKUs (1) Request should not be made for opportunity management purposes The purpose of the deployment investment (up to $40 per seat) is to help customers deploy the promo SKUs; this investment should never go to any partner other than the one completing the deployment work

? Does MCS/deployment partner have to submit an SOW? No. Both MCS and Cloud Deployment Partners are required to submit a customer-signed EA Offer Planning Document. Cloud Deployment Partners will also have to submit an EA Offer Request Form to the appropriate PAM or AM. Microsoft does not request the SOWs that MCS/external partners may have with customers. What happens if milestones/deadlines are not met? This is a promotion, not a BIF program. Specific milestones and deadlines must be met for payment to be distributed. If work commences and stops before the deployment investment requirements are met, no payment will be made as part of this offer. This is true regardless of the reason for milestones/ deadlines being missed, including customer decision, expiration of customer’s current EA, etc. This is a significant CPE and financial risk that will have to be managed between MCS/Cloud Deployment Partners and their customers. What does this offer mean for BPCIP? This offer does not change BPCIP in any way. Field representatives should strive to coordinate resources to ensure maximum efficiency and to avoid over investing on any one account. Must all workloads of a SKU be deployed in order to qualify for the investment? The deployment investment requires active use of at least one cloud workload. No on-premises deployments will be funded. Can a customer with EA expiring in early FY14 also take advantage of deployment investment? A customer can deploy up to 18 months after purchasing the promo SKUs, even into a new agreement, as long as they also commit to the promo on the renewal EA. The EA promo amendment has a conditional component that ensures customers have the full 18 months from the initial qualifying purchase to use their deployment funds so long as they have also added eligible SKUs to an early commit EA.
