Aims of the session To outline our core curriculum, the option pools and subject choices available. To outline how to make a good choice.

Progress 8 – a new measure that will replace 5 A*-C inc E&M Progress 8 is made up by the following; 1) English Language or English Literature 2) Maths 3) EBACC 1 4) EBACC 2 5) EBACC 3 6) Any GCSE or approved equivalent course 7) Any GCSE or approved equivalent course 8) Any GCSE or approved equivalent course

EBACC Subjects Any of the following; GCSE Science Suite - Core Science, Additional Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computing. GCSE Languages – French, Spanish or German. GCSE History or Geography.

Year 9 Courses from September 2016 All Year 8 students will begin GCSE courses in September 2016.
