Total length: 2.299,6km 74% of the road network consists of motorways Main Axis: 1.451,4km [87,4% motorways] Branch A: 163,4km [73,7% motorways] Branch B: 352,9km [70,3% motorways] Branch C: 191,8km [7,5% motorways] Branch D: 140,1km In 2009: Completion of 20,5km sector on the Main Axis in South Serbia, between Levosoje and Presevo. Completion of two 10km sectors on Corridor X Branch B in North Serbia, on the section Novi Sad and Horgos. Expected completion of the entire motorway on the Main Axis in Slovenia between Bic and Obrezje (75,5km). Financing secured for Grabovnica (Leskovac) – Levosoje (74,1), Nis (Prosek) - Dimitrovgrad (83,4km). By 2015: 90,3% of the network will be motorways State of play of Road Corridor X

Total length: 2.528,2km 89,3% electrified 63% single track alignment – 37% double track alignment Main Axis: 1742,3km (55% single track alignment – Fully electrified) Branch A: 154,3km (70% double track alignment – Fully electrified) Branch B: 305,6km (96% single track alignment – Fully electrified) Branch C: 161,0km (95% single track alignment – 65% diesel) Branch D: 165,0km (100% single track alignment – Fully diesel) Limited investments for the improvement of the railway infrastructure by 2015. Not doubling of tracks, except from some sections in Austria. Priority in rehabilitation and upgrading projects On-going rehabilitation of lines in Croatia and Serbia State of play of Rail Corridor X

Rail Corridor Electrification and line modernization completed on the Main Axis in 2006 Construction on going of the new line Polykastro – Eidomeni, in four phases Cost 95mo€ 1 st phase: works completed in March 2009 (substructure for double track, new bridge over Axios River 755m, superstructure for single track, etc.) 2 nd phase: works on-going, to be completed in March 2010 3 rd phase: superstructure and electrification works 4 th phase: signaling, phyto-technical and signaling works and construction of new stations in Polykastron and Mikro Dasos and renovation of border station Eidomeni Completion of entire project by December 2012 Branch D modernization completed in 2006 Progress of Corridor X in Greece
