General considerations Pillars of the XIX IACML gather multiple aspects of the world of work Commitments of the Declaration and Plan of Action of Cancun guide actions: – At the national level – MLs and in relation to other authorities – At the hemispheric level – Regional Agenda (cooperation) Limited timeframe – 2 years Limit number of priorities to achieve depth and follow-up – Inputs (Questionnaires) – Background (Chart of mandates)

Expected outcomes Greater intersectoral coordination between Education and Labor Analysis and affirmation of the role of MLs, IACML and RIAL in the 2030 Agenda and joint monitoring system of objective 8 Continue efforts and cooperation in: Study on Social Security Agreements-Database Systems of social protection and its linkage to employment Coherence of migration, labor and employment policies Professional training Greater strengthening of the areas within the MLs that monitor international commitments Include diverse groups (beneficiaries) in IACML meetings

Products Some Ministries mentioned concrete products: Studies Seminars / Workshops Development of national and voluntary reports on progress made regarding IACML mandates. Develop body to monitor commitments Design indicators that measure results of technical cooperation Unique regional information system on socio-labor conditions
