(europa) 5.They all know Spain. 6.He knows where Nicaragua is. 7.My brother knows how to speak three languages. 8.The students know how to speak Spanish.

5 Escuchar Listen to each conversation and then, bubble the letter of the answer that best describes what each one is about. Conversations may include: introducing someone saying where someone is from asking what someone knows how to do saying what you do for a living saying what someone plans to do saying what someone does for a living describing what someone does at work How to prepare: Review notes of vocabulary with phrases and questions on page 45 and 77.

State why you are writing this letter Mention what University you are currently attending Name two job-specific skills you have Say what languages you can speak and write Name two other useful job skills you have Describe your work-related attributes using three adjectives Mention that you can give them your resume (currículum vitae) and recommendation from your university Use at least one indirect object pronoun

I know how to take care of sick people and give them advice as to how to have a healthy life. I know how to speak and write two languages, English and Spanish. I know how to program and use computers. I am a hardworking, caring person and like to work with others. I have a copy of my resume (mi currículum vitae) and I can give you my letter of recommendation from the university. Espero su respuesta pronto. 10 Verbal You will be shown 6 pictures that show people at work or in their neighborhood. You will be asked to say five sentences about the pictures to earn an “A”. Tell what their profession is. Tell what they do as part of their profession. How to prepare: Review your vocabulary that says what peoples’ jobs are and what they do for a living. Don’t be afraid to open your book!
