YOUTH AND EDUCATION ACTION TEAM YEAT GOALS Assist Youth in getting more involved in City activities Encourage Youth to have a stake in their community Identify existing activities that engage youth and build on current successes

YEAT ACTIVITIES 2004-2005 Asset Building training – will continue with three scheduled training opportunities for teachers, after-school aides, and any youth advocate. Citywide Teen Conference – will be planned for April 2005 with job fair, career fair, and health fair as well as motivational speakers and opportunities for teen appreciation.

Teen Opportunities Academy Projects: Projects identified in areas of teen interest, working in the community and with the community. Visit to State Capitol - TBA State of the City, February 2005 All-City Teen Conference – April 2005
