♥ O n entering the gate, you will first see the Bell Pavilion and the Drum Pavilion on both sides. While entering the first hall named Heavenly King Hall, there stand the carved statues of Maitreya Buddha 弥勒佛 and the four Heavenly Kings, with steles of sutras 经典石碑 and huge paintings on the walls. ♥ Inside the third hall named Mahavira Hall 大雄宝殿 are gilded 镀金的 statues of Sakyamuni, the 18 arhats, and others. There’s also a jade Buddha statue that is from Rangoon( 仰光 ), the capital of Burma 缅 甸.
