www.idrc.ca International Development Research Centre Participatory Development Communication Is an important cross-cutting dimension of CBNRM research, as well as a pressing issue for capacity-building. Every CBNRM project has to deal with communication with the local communities and other stakeholders, but few demonstrate an optimum utilization of communication strategies and technologies.
