2 Adaptations An orangutans adaptations are to swing on tress with there long arms. That’s how they build strength.

3 Habitat Orangutans live in rain forest in Borneo and Sumatra. But baby ones live in a orphanage because their parents were killed.

4 Life span The average life span of an orangutan is 50 years old. But in the wild life they live up to 40 to 45 years old.

5 Appearance The appearance of an orangutan is their hair is red and brown. They also have very long arms and faces. When there older around their mouth is black.

6 Food Orangutans eat leaves, fruit, and ants. They also eat flowers and tree bark.

7 Predator An orangutans predator is a tiger and also people. People want to use there fur for clothing.

8 Nests Orangutans have nests and on their nests are roofs to keep out rain. Orangutan baby’s live in nests for 5 to 6 years then there on there own.
