Role of AFL(NSW/ACT) staff AFL Product = AFL Delivery Level 0 Coaching course at all Junior Clubs/Centres Introductory Umpiring course offered to centres. Hold an Auskick Coordinators workshop AFL(NSW/ACT) staff member allocated to visit clubs and assist/witness the program as required. Giving advice/feedback on centre. A Roster system will be in place Provide auskick resources to clubs Coordinating galadays Maintain www.aflauskick.com.auwww.aflauskick.com.au

Role of Junior Clubs Ground hire bookings (not including galaday bookings) Manage/coach teams –Collect payment (if paid in cash) –Distribute auskick packs –Distribute resources to volunteers Responsible for ‘game day’ experience

Game Day Structure OPTION 1 1 session per week –No individual training session 1.5 Hour session –Skills session: 30mins - Emphasis on further development of basic game skills –Organise teams: 5-10mins –Game: 7mins thirds, using Auskick rules supplied. Emphasis on using skills just learnt during skills session prior OPTION 2 2 session per week –Same structure as option 1, but Individual training session separate to game

Locations of Centres Centres & format of current club start structure would remain similar –With increased numbers of children, we would look at having more centres U8/9 2008 centres at: –North Side (Ainslie inc) –Eastlake –Calwell –Southside –Queanbeyan U8/9 2009-2010 target (discussed during Action Plan Meetings) –Belconnen (Magpies/Cats) –Ainslie –Gungahlin –Eastlake –Calwell –Tuggeranong (Bulldogs/Lions) –Queanbeyan –Weston Creek –Yass/Goulburn/Crookwell –Cooma/Jindabyne/Bombala

Dates for Courses Level 0 Auskick Coaching Course –March – May, At club venue Level 1 Auskick Coaching Course –Sat 4 th April, Manuka Level 2 Coaching Courses –21 st & 22 nd Feb, Sydney –7 th & 8 th March, Wagga Wagga –2010, Manuka ACT.

What does Auskick Registration Cover? Resources available to each centre will be directly proportional to the number of registrations. Player Resources – 2008 (may vary for 2009) –Football –Hat –Bag (Different for Rookie & Pro) –Lunch Box (Rookie Only) –Waterbottle –DVD / Magazine / Sponsors Offers –INSURANCE Club Resources: –Clothes & Hats –Footballs –Cones –Posters –Coaching Manual –Positional bibs for games - tbc –Ball Bag / Whistles –Signage –Administration Folder Other equipment available to be borrowed is: –Tackling Bags –Handball Targets –Goal Posts AFL Development Staff will also be available when required to assist with: –Level 0 Coaching Course for Parents Syncronised marketing campaign & branding with AFL Campaigns including Auskick advertisements, & online websites (aflauskick.com.au) Linked to AFL Development Activities & promotional activities in schools Online Payment system (aflauskick.com.au) Volunteer Training & centre admin kit Each registered child goes into the draw to play half time Auskick at the AFL Grand Final on the MCG !!
