Volunteering to write for AGCAS Why write for AGCAS: Help to maintain a vast and comprehensive set of resources. Enhance your industry or sector knowledge. Add to your catalogue of published work. Contribute towards your professional development.
9
Making a bid How to submit a bid: Look out for the recruitment messages on the discussion links. Respond to them with an email that includes: Which title(s) you are interested in and why. What experience you have in the relevant job sector. Details of relevant industry or personal contacts. Information on previous writing experience. The bid does not need to be formal and we are happy to accept new writers with no previous experience.
10
Support when writing The writing process Writers are sent detailed guidelines which instruct them on how to complete the update. Each writer will be assigned an editor who will be available for support throughout the writing process. Writers are given around two months to complete the update so it is not a rushed process. Look out for the recruitment emails and if there are any queries get in touch with the publications team.
