BILTREAT 5454PB Boil Out Chemicals DESCRIPTION BILTREAT 5454PB is a liquid alkaline formulation containing organic salt in combination with proprietary surfactant, designed to accelerate dissolving of accumulated deposits in paper making systems and extend the runnability interval of the paper machine. It provides a thorough cleaning to prevent breaks, holes, profile problems, unscheduled downtime and unsaleable paper. It performs best when the requirements of the boil out program are met. 2. FEATURES Eliminates slime, pitch, ink, adhesives and other sticky deposits from machine chests, transfer lines wires, rolls, felts and dryer cans. Effective as pitch control agent in ground wood/TMC/secondary fiber systems. Easy to feed liquid product. Enhances detrimental substances control management. BILTREAT 5454PB is most effective when the boil out solution temperature is maintained between 55 0 C – 60 0 C in removing deposited slime,' tacky’ agglomeration from wires and felts when fed directly and also to prevent/reduce further deposition. Besides, it provides detergency needed to prevent and break up deposits to enhance boil out effectiveness.

3. APPLICATION & DOSAGE BILTREAT 5454PB is effective in enhancing the boil out process. For best result dilute the product in water at a concentration between 0.5% to 1.5% depending upon the severity of the deposit. The desired dose point is the machine chest of the paper machine system. PACKING BILTREAT 5454 PB is available in 35 kg HDPE carbouys (Std).
