Spreadsheet History First required everyone to use the standard spreadsheet in 2009 We have had 4 versions since then Roughly annual updates No major changes Mainly fixing problems Some planners requested an alternative input method in version 4 Alternative input method developed for selected planners Unfortunately, while these were similar, there were differences This has created problems with support and review 1

New Spreadsheet Development Process Evaluated support issues with the version 4 Discussed issues with Nutrient Management Program Workgroup Developed a draft proposal for a Version 5.0 Met with planners to go over issues with the current spreadsheet, present a proposal for Version5.0, solicit input. New Spreadsheet Development Process(continued) Reworked the spreadsheet to accommodate the changes We are at this point: Released a Beta Test Version to select group of planners.(Testing ends Nov 20 th.)
