2. Materials: Paper

3. Markers

4. Glue

5. Leaves (any size, shape & color)

6. First step: lay hand on paper

7. Second step: trace out hand

8. Hand should look like this

9. Third step: color in hand with marker for trunk of tree

10. Fourth step: place leaves where you want

11. Fifth step: glue leaves on one by one

12. Sixth step: add outdoor items such as clouds

14. Final Product Why do leaves fall? The veins that carry fluids into and out of the leaf gradually close off as a layer of cells forms at the base of each leaf. Veins trap sugars in the leaf and promote production of anthocyanins. Once this separation layer is complete and the connecting tissues are sealed off, the leaf is ready to fall.
