7 Public Health Outcomes Framework Vision: to improve and protect the nation’s health and wellbeing, and improve the health of the poorest fastest Online data tool updated on a quarterly basis – August, November, February and May The tool presents data for available indicators at England, upper tier and lower tier local authority levels The tool allows you to: Compare your local authority against other authorities in the region Benchmark your local authority against the England average Download the datasets to be used locally Comparisons and benchmarking against ONS Classification Groups and Deprivation deciles now added 7Tools to aid decision making

9 Health profiles Health Profiles are designed to help local government and health services identify problems in their areas and decide how to tackle them. They provide a snapshot of the overall health of the local population, and highlight potential problems through comparison with other areas and with the England average. Each Health Profile PDF document includes: An ‘At a glance’ summary description of people’s health in the area Maps and charts that show how the health in the area compares to the England and local view Trended information showing changes in death rates over a ten year period of time A 'spine chart' health summary showing the difference in health between the area and the average for England for 32 indicators Online interactive maps are available which enable comparison of several areas for all indicators in the spine chart 9Tools to aid decision making
